Welcome to Lutz Leaguerettes 2009-2010 season! I want to first THANK each of you for volunteering to be your daughter’s team mom! The league thanks you in advance for your time and dedication to this important position and I am sure your manager and coach will do the same! With each of you, the information from the Board of Directors can be delivered to the teams without any hesitation! So THANK YOU!!! Important information for being a team mom- Concession: This year the Board of Directors made the decision to not have all parents/guardians participate and work the concession stand at scheduled times like we have done in the past. If the parents on your team would still like to donate their time in the concession, please let myself, Heather Hand (heatherhand75@hotmail.com) know and I will see what times are still available. Each 4-hour block you sign-up for makes you eligible to request a $12.50 refund at the end of the year (up to $25.00 or two-4 hour sessions). All slots not filled will be staffed, and there is not a requirement to work concession this year as you can choose to apply your $25 to staff by not signing up for a slot. Please contact me for more information. Picture Day-Picture day is scheduled for Saturday, February 13, 2010. I will create a picture schedule and email it out when the time gets closer. I will also have order forms, like in the past, to give to you prior to the scheduled day. There will also be extra order forms the day of pictures, just in case. More information to come…. Paul C. Smith Golf Tournament-This is our annual golf tournament and it will be held February 28, 2010. If you or anyone you know would like to participate, please let me know. We are putting together a brochure with all information pertaining to the tournament, as soon as I have it, I will email it out to each of you. Super Sunday-Super Sunday is scheduled for March 28, 2010. This is an all day event with games being played by parents, wonderful food that is donated by different venues from around Lutz and we will be asking for donations of food from each team. There will be different events like our annual basket theme ticket raffle, face painting, cake walks, and softball games and more! This is a huge fundraiser for our field, so every little bit of help is needed and appreciated. I will be sending out more information when the time gets closer. I do a lot of emailing throughout the year….so please verify your email address with me and let me know if you have an alternative email that you would prefer to use. I will email you every month with a monthly update of what is schedule for the month upcoming. If you can please respond to those emails and let me know that you received them, I would greatly appreciate it. I have included the list of our Board of Directors in case you would every need to contact them for any reason. If you have any concerns with being a Team Mom or any information/problems with your team, coach/manager or parents, please do not hesitate to contact me at anytime. I can help in anyway that I can. Again, I want to Thank you in advance for your commitment this year to the league, you have any no idea how much easier you have made my job but also the job of your coach and manager for your daughter’s and players on the team.
