2012 Team Parent Information
1. Board Meetings
* Everyone is invited to attend monthly board meetings
* Meetings are held the first Monday of every month at 7pm in the board room

2. Pictures -
* You may submit pictures to be posted on website to: Michele Kozlovsky
* Pictures can be from any games, events and activities that are Lutz Leaguerette Related

3. Tournaments
* Early bird tournament will be held in Brandon on the following dates:
  • Pigtail: Friday, Jan 6 – Sunday, Jan 8
  • Pixie and Pony: Friday, Jan 13 – Sunday, Jan 15
  • Exact game days and times will be posted end of December, beginning of January
  • We usually have 100% participation
* Spring Break Tournament – March 2012

  • Location and exact dates TBA
  • Very limited Lutz participation
* County Tournament
  • Top 2 teams in each division will go and represent Lutz
  • Location will be at our fields
  • Date sometime in April
* All Star Tournament
  • Location and date TBA
4. Banquets
* Pixie and pigtail teams will be at Steinbrenner field
* Pony will be at Embassy Suites
* Date TBD

5. Volunteer Background Check Procedure
* Beginning October 1, 2009 Any adult on the fields, or working with players, must have an ID card to indicate completion of, and cleared status of a background check

6. Special Events
* We host 2 fundraising events: Golf Tournament and Super Sunday
  • Golf Tournament - Put a foursome together for golf, obtain hole sponsors and raffle prizes
  • Super Sunday - Sell raffle tickets, obtain food donations, put together auction basket, participate in parent team
